Portfolio Support System

Jumbo Venture's Portfolio Support System is like a venture capital firm minus the check. We recruit and support Tufts start-ups through education, community, and networking connections, thus allowing Tufts start-ups to have the resources to succeed.  

The portfolio startups will receive the following supports from Jumbo Ventures:

1. Attending speaker lectures/fireside chats/workshops with successful founders/operators/investors on campus

2. Office hour with Advisory Board members who are highly accomplished founders, investors and operators across industries

3. Support from our Mentor Network consisting of experienced founders and operators

4. Opportunity to pitch startup at the Jumbo Ventures Entrepreneurial Networking Night (JVENN)

5. Support in team building and recruiting talents from Tufts

6. Introduction with founders/investors/operators in our network

7. Marketing support through our social media handles, podcast and website

8. Opportunity to work with our Portfolio Support System (PSS) Team on areas of needs: technology consulting, market research, competitor analysis, financial modeling etc.

9. Other exclusive opportunities through our partner network
